	BUSSINESS MANAGEMENT - BRIEF The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is an established UK body that not only provides a highly recognised business diploma but also paves the pathway to higher learning such as BBA and MBA programmes. The most unique characteristic appropriately catering for aspiring managers and working professionals is its easy approach, making it an ideal programme for school leavers. The ABE launches its revised Business Administration programme, which is now called Business Management. The programme examines many areas of business and management, from marketing to economics and communication. The ABE is a valuable qualification as it helps those who have completed the programme to perform their jobs more effectively. It can also be used as a diagnostic tool to help decide whether to specialize in Accountancy, Marketing, Office Administration and etc. Many professional bodies give exemptions to holders of an ABE qualification. An added advantage is the ability to gain entrance into a final year University Degree Programme. Certificate Course Contents Introduction to Business Introduction to Quantitative Methods Introduction to Accounting Introduction to Business Communication Entry Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age SPM/ ‘O' Level / SAP – 3 passes • Diploma Level 1 Course Contents Economic Principles and Their Application to Business Organisational Behaviour Accounting Quantitative Methods for Business and Management • Diploma Level 2 Course Contents Marketing, Policy Planning and Communication Human Resource Management Management in Action (synoptic) And two (2) options from the following: Principles of Business Law Systems Analysis and Design Managerial Accounting Entry Requirements for Diploma 1 & 2 Students are required to passes ONE of the following: ABE Certificate STPM or ‘A' level with 2 passes 4 passes in the LCCI examination, of which 2 must be at 1 stage and 2 at the intermediate stage Pitman Group and Higher Group Certificates 21 years and above with 2 years work experience Advanced Diploma Course Contents Corporate Strategy and Planning Managing in Organisations International Business Case Study And two (2) options from: Strategic Marketing Management Corporate Finance Strategic Human Resource Management for Business Organisation Managing the Information Resource Entry Requirements: Student who successfully completed the Diploma Examination Exempted from the Certificate and Diploma by virtue of holding the following: a degree in a relevant discipline other recognized professional qualification Course Duration : 6 months per Level Examinations : June/December Document to bring for registration: 2 passport size photographs 2 IC photocopies 2 photocopies of relevant certificates including SPM (certified true copy) Registration fee RM 50 Membership fee £ 35 (Certificate Level), £ 50 (Diploma Level), and £ 150 (Advanced Diploma) Bank Draft payable to Association of Business Executives Awarded by Association of Business Executives This programme has the LAN minimum standard certification.
